Okinawa DAY 3 - Churaumi Aquarium & Kokusai street

Hi! It's been a while since the DAY 2 post. The Churaumi Aquarium is at the north part of Okinawa. It's a must-visit if you like sea animals :)

Ray imitating an Okinawan legendary animal.

So many fins!

Geckos have very cute feet.

Mysterious-looking fish

...and the famous whale shark at Churaumi! It actually felt bigger than shown in the picture. There's a cafeteria around the tank so you can have a meal while enjoying the view.

Watch the scale of this giant fish!

Churaumi has more buildings besides the aquarium, so don't forget to check out the scenery and other activities!

We drove back to Naha city and went to the Kokusai street. It means "International street', where you can shop for food, clothes, cosmetics and etc.
This is the stop sign in Japan. Don't get confused!

There are many stores like Coach, a drugstore, a candy shop, a t-shirt shop, and others where they have duty-free items, so shop some gifts for your friends and family before you leave.

Nothing fancy, we just got some chicken(Karaage) but it came with a seaweed miso soup- the seaweed has an interesting chewy texture.
This is back at the Southern beach hotel. You can see the cafeteria has a variety of food- Asian and western meals.
Ok, that's it for Okinawa. Stay tuned for the next post! :)
