Hong Kong DAY 2 - Disneyland

On the second day, Ray and I went to Disneyland which is on the Lantau Island. We took the subway and it was really close to the airport.

This is from the parade. I think there are two parades per day.

 Lilo and Stitch :)

Although it was early May, it was very humid and hot - so we were always looking for indoor rides where they had air conditioning.

This is one of the few roller coasters in the park, and you can find it in the Toy Story area. Super fun!

I really enjoyed the Winnie the Pooh ride. You can skip the long line if you show the flash ticket.

Fantasia will always be my favorite disney movie.

Food is pricey, so make sure you bring some cash(1 burger set was about HK $240)

This animation studio is near the entrance and not so crowded. So on the way home, we stopped by and learned how to draw Baymax.

Hong Kong DAY 1 - Tsim Sha Tsui

Hi! I went to Hong Kong for 4 days in May. Ray heard good things about HK so we decided to go for the holidays.

This chain called 'Toast' had really good peanut butter toast and milk teas =)

Wait so long for just a few toast ^^;
A double decker!
Honestly I don't like spending too much time on food because then it gets so dark. We went to Tsim Sha Tsui and bustled along with people =D

a giant parfait.
We missed the Symphony of Lights, which is a laser show that lasts for about 10 min at 8PM every night. This restaurant called 'Serenade' was next to the river, so we went in for dinner.

Pork with vegetables

Pork buns! My favorite

I think 'Serenade' is crowded most of the time, so note that it takes a while for food to be served.

The lasers come out from the buildings in the Central area. This was a foggy night so the mountains were not so visible.

We went to Victoria Peak via bus from Tsim Sha Tsui to see the city view. If you ride the tram from the peak, ride on the left side downhill so you have a better view of the city. :)

Next time I'll post about Lantau Island.
