Jeju Island - lagoons, coves, and cliffs

Today I'll share some photos of Seong San 성산일출봉 in Jeju Island. It's a peak on the East Coast with a plateau on top. It's a must-visit place in Jeju!

Pointy rocks on the way to the peak

Make sure you turn back to see the scenery, because there are Ascending and Descending Trails. (different angles)
At the peak - very windy!

I heard there's also helicopter and cruise tours around the peak available. (over 50,000 won) If you have a lot of money, I think you'll enjoy the view! Seong San is a national park and the entrance was only about 2,000 won. So it really depends on your budget.

Lighthouses in distance

On the way down, you'll see to your right there's a little beach and the sea women (해녀 in Korean)'s house. Don't forget to go there and check out the aquamarine water and beautiful black rocks!

Small pond shaped like a heart
In this pond, you can actually see little sea plants and fish living in here.
Some of them are pretty interestingly shaped.

We drove to the nearby cliff called 섭지코지, but we didn't go too far. It was very windy and after having looked at Seong San, we felt like calling it a day. Sorry!

I'll be writing about the Bijarim Forest soon. 비자림
