On the third day Ray and I went to the famous Ngong Ping Cable car. It's right by the Tung Chung station. Some strange guy was selling black tickets and there were some pictures of suffering people in the Fa Lun Palace. We almost bought them because the deal was good, but we resisted the urge. I think the guy disappeared when we came back from the mountain top.
We took the crystal car so the bottom was transparent! A bit scary at first...hehe
Streams could be seen here and there.
After about 20 min, we saw the Buddha monument from afar.
Yay, we're finally here!
It was a very hot day -- probably above 30 degrees-- but there were a lot of tourists.
Enjoy the view of Ngong Ping village :)
Small fried dim sum
There were some cattle frolicking in the village and in the mountains.
We came back home and decided to get the famous 'Under The Bridge Crab'. It was pretty good.
Honestly, I am not very satisfied when HK restaurants charge customers for tea and peanuts when we don't want them(the waitor boldly said 'Eat peanuts or not, we charge you anyway').
We also made it this time to A Symphony of Lights from Tsim Sha Tsui. The decks were full of tourists!
If you want to shop clothes and shoes, you should go upward to Mong Kok and look -- the stores have cheap brand sneakers for a specific size.
That's it for Hong Kong. Thanks for reading!
